‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for the week of May 8th reveal Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) gets some unexpected news. Plus, we’ll see Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) doing his best to prove himself at Titan. Plus, we’ll celebrate a milestone for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Here’s what you need to know.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Baby drama
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we weren’t surprised to learn Nicole is pregnant following her emergency trip to University Hospital. However, Nicole obviously was, and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will be as well.
Nicole will confide in her at the DiMera mansion. We do find it interesting how she immediately says she doesn’t know who the father of her baby is. Again, the timing should make her believe it’s EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel).
But we guess the, what, days or a week that passed since that biscuit fiasco is going to be forgotten for the sake of a paternity story. One that really needs to end with EJ being the daddy, in our opinion.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Make or break
Elsewhere, DOOL will be welcoming a special guest the week of May 8th. Remember that big deal Alex has to close for Titan? Well, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will keep her promise to go to the meeting, where they will be discussing business with Josh Flagg of Million Dollar Listing.
Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) wasn’t joking about how big this deal is! We’ll see if Alex can make Maggie proud and cement his future at Titan, but that brief clip of the trio meeting feels like it might get off on the wrong foot.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Celebration
Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal this week will be a special one for one actress in particular. We’ll see Deidre Hall’s 5,000th episode as Marlena Evans! The show looks like they’ll go all-out, too.
John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena look to be celebrating in the promo. We’ll also get quite a few flashbacks of Marlena’s time in Salem. As we haven’t been watching for more than a few years, we don’t know some of the people that will appear in those flashbacks.
But we’re looking forward to getting the introduction to Marlena’s history. Long-time fans are likely to love the trip through memory lane. We will say, however, that we hope they really honor her anniversary better than they did Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes). That episode left us completely underwhelmed.
