‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for the week of January 31st reveal Lani Price (Sal Stowers) isn’t having it. Meanwhile, we’ll see a couple of proposals and they both look to be doomed, in our opinion. Plus, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) must deal with the truth, while Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has a mission. Let’s take a look at what the promo says.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Daddy Dearest
First off, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) never seems to learn. She, of course, had good intentions when she refused to call Lani her daughter in front of TR Coates (William Christian). However, her behavior left both TR and Lani confused. So it didn’t take long for the evil ex to do a web search and learn the truth. He’ll tell Lani he’s her father this week, but Lani isn’t impressed. She wants to know if she’s supposed to run into his arms and call him, “Daddy.”
We can’t help but wonder if Paulina’s lie will once again cause friction for her and Lani. After all, if TR really was a dangerous guy like she thinks, shouldn’t Lani have known the truth? It’s better to be prepared than blindsided. Lani’s just getting beyond the aunt lie, and now Paulina kept something else from her. So, we feel like that will play a part in things going forward.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Double Disappointment?
Also, this week, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is going to propose to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). We see nothing good coming from that, given Allie is still dealing with her guilt over that night with Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens).
Speaking of proposal disasters, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) popped the question Friday. Unfortunately for him, this week will not bring him the answer he hoped for. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will likely be coming from a place of guilt herself when she says she can’t marry him. All we have to say is, if either of these couples does end up getting engaged, they need to go far from Salem and stay there. Because there is no way either couple will have a successful wedding.
Case in point: Sarah swears she’s coming home to someone, who we’re guessing is Xander.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Truth Time
Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will insist Craig has to tell Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) the truth. We assume he does, and it doesn’t go very well. Another clip in the promo shows Craig getting chowder dumped on him. And we’re loving it. Seriously, he deserves it. Based on what we saw, he clearly avoided telling her after Chloe put him on the spot. Because there would be no reason for Chloe to say it again if he had. So, the fact he’s been delaying this for so long gives us little sympathy.
He may be in a confusing situation and something that he maybe has some guilt and mixed emotions about. However, this is a grown man and he has to know lying to the woman he supposedly loves for so long is not right. Nor is making her think they’re better than ever when he’s really in love with someone else.
