‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate that something must be in the air in Salem, because we’ve got love (and hate) in the air. Did you miss all the Days of Our Loves spoilers? Don’t worry, because you can catch up here with your Days of Our Lives recap for the day.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Cupid in Salem?
It sure seems like something’s going on, because everywhere you looked there were people either hooking up, or giving up something for love.
Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) get things started now that Ciara Brady is off in South Africa. Claire doesn’t waste much time and is the one who pushes the idea of something between them. Tripp’s reluctant, because they all live in the same place and he’s concerned about the effect it will have on his and Ciara’s bond. Claire, being Claire, points out how Ciara already moved on and this could be a great thing that changes their lives. Her persistence pays off, because by the end of the episode, they’re off to her bedroom.

Elsewhere, Hayley Chen (Thia Megia) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) are connecting at his apartment over the dinner she almost burns. They chat some, and he eventually opens up about the mistake he made with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva), as well as his history with her late daughter, Paige Larson (True O’Brien). During their talk, he mentions that Paige had gotten him into music, and Hayley’s surprised. She wants to hear a song. This eventually becomes a duet, and the vibes are unmistakable.
In other love news, we may be seeing Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) about to fall into Ted Laurant’s (Gilles Marini) arms. She had come across him talking to Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and looks just a little too upset about that. He even calls her out on that, but she denies any jealousy. Once he finds out that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has left the country for a while, he offers her a dinner as a thank you for her help. She goes along with it, and we’re marveling at her stupidity.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sacrifices Made Or the Battle That Wasn’t
The battle between Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has ended almost before it could get going. Seems the board likes the idea of them being co-CEOs, so they’re both in. Chad isn’t having that, because he knows that Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) won’t like that Chad is living in the same house with Stefan full-time. He decides to give up the job for her sake.
Now that Stefan is in charge as well, Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) company is on the line. She and Stefan get into a pissing match about who can inflict the most damage through part of the episode, with each promising to make each other’s lives hell. We say all she has to do is make sure the board is well aware he’s planning to completely destroy a company asset and she’s likely safe. I’d imagine they’d keep an eye on things for their bottom line’s sake, but then this is soap world, so who knows?
Side Note: Abbi and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) are not willing to give up on Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Abbi is convinced her real father is in there somewhere, and he will get those memories back.
