There’s a curious build up in Salem toward Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) as it seems her previous actions of paying off authorities to not investigate her daughter to protect her is being mentioned more frequently lately.
Especially when it’s come to questioning or commanding others to abandon their loved ones. First was Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) when he intended to keep investigating Li Shin (Reminton Hoffman)’s murder to prove Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus)’s innocence.
Paulina didn’t like Rafe hinting at her own methods of protecting her family and went dull dictator on him, and the latest was with Melinda Trask (Trina Huang) as they traded barbs, both personal and professional.
Paulina let her dislike for Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) known while ignoring she took away any chance of justice or closure Sloan had by paying off the police not to investigate and then having Belle Black (Martha Madison) work her magic to quell any further attempt in civil court.
Sloan’s moved on with it, but Paulina seems awfully touchy about her past, and that gives ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers a feeling she’s building for an epic fall at some point.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Sloan keeps walking the line
We can’t help but feel that Sloan will earn all of Paulina’s ire when the news breaks about her having Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker)’s baby, and she deserves it.
There’s no defending her recent actions, but it is understandable, and with Melinda playing the devil on her shoulder we doubt she’ll come clean on her own any time soon.
What could make this interesting is how vehemently Paulina will want to go after her and how it’ll make her look. Sloan’s already a pariah in many people’s eyes, so they won’t mind.
But there could be a few problems with this.
For starters, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers expect things to go a little sideways for Paulina leading up to this point.

We’re pretty sure Gabi was set up, and we think it was by EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), especially after an interview where he and Remington Hoffman talked about teaming up.
And since Li is dead, we think it had to be to set Gabi up but EJ got a little too aggressive for whatever reason.
When this comes to light, Paulina will have to eat more than a little crow as Rafe may not be too gentle with her, especially if something happens to Gabi in prison.
Add to that is we’re right and Melinda will fall on her sword and take full blame for taking Nicole’s baby, Paulina won’t get her revenge on Sloan and that could push Paulina closer to the precipice and facing up for what she previously did.
