NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal there are four weddings and a funeral ahead. The weddings are pretty clear. We have four engaged couples currently, although we do somewhat doubt they’ll all walk down the aisle. In fact, we remember reading something about how Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) might not get down the aisle. But who’s the funeral? Let’s take a look at some of the options.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rafe?
Our first candidate is Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). It was confirmed a long time ago that he’s leaving the series. So, he’d be the most obvious choice. And since he’s supposed to work on getting Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) to confess, there would be motive for whoever is behind all these weird events with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), as well as Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) to want him gone. Also, with Gabi MiMera (Camila Banus) so insistent Jake is Stefan, she’s gotten into some trouble. This could, in theory, end with Rafe having to save her. It’d also lead to some very dramatic stuff for Gabi to do.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will or Sonny?
Another thing that stands out to us is Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis’ (Freddie Smith) impending departure. During an episode of the Freddie and Alyssa show, Smith talked about their departure, and some of his wording caught our attention. He’d specifically spoken about what a surprise it was and how they found out through scripts. More accurately, what was in the scripts. He talked about things looking worse the further they read on. Could he be referring to a life-threatening situation ahead? We’ll have to wait and see on that one. But we figure anyone who’s going (especially in the next couple of months or so) is fair game. Although, we have high hopes that WilSon will be allowed to walk off into the sunset with a new child, courtesy of Allie Horton.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Who might be the funeral in “Four Weddings and a Funeral”?
This is another reason why we wonder about their status. They share a child with Gabi, so it seems weird that they’d just take off like that. And we honestly don’t see Gabi leaving her daughter, either. That leads us to believe something big (and tragic) could happen.
We’d put Gabi on this list as well, but there’s no word on her leaving that we’ve seen. Plus, she’s such a great character, it seems insane to have her leave right after bringing Brandon Barash (Stefan DiMera/Jake Lambert) back into the mix. The last time, they had a story together, Stefan “died” and the fans lost it. Feels like a suicide move to pull this again, but who knows? The writers are having fun lately.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Claire?
A long time ago, there was a rumor out there that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) might die. We honestly don’t see that happening. From what we see, the writers clearly are building these two up as the future, and it’s unlikely they’d throw away something like that. Especially with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) poised to help save the family business from sabotage. However, we do see a scare ahead. There have been numerous scenes where Ciara expressed fear for Ben’s safety. Especially the last few episodes. Ben has been so firm in promising he won’t let anything stop him from marrying the love of his life, we see trouble brewing. However, we think someone else might actually die.

Namely, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan). After briefly doubting her intentions, we do think she’s being sincere in her desire to be better. Her convincing Gwen (Emily O’Brien) to do the right thing shows that. And she is almost obsessed with making things up to Ciara. What better way to do that (and earn her full redemption) than saving Ciara’s love’s life? Without a love interest, job, or her parents to rebuild her family bond, we’re not seeing much ahead for Claire to do. Well, besides let John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) play parents. And that, while amusing now, will lose its appeal soon.
