‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers still can’t wrap our minds over the fact the show runners actually burned down the Horton House, but especially the Christmas ornaments!
It’s a great twist and shows fans that nothing is sacred and can be destroyed by a fanatic, in this case allegedly Clyde Weston (James Read).
But that’s the problem. The Horton House and ornaments are sacred to fans and this is sacrilege to many of us and understandably so.
We’re holding out hope the writers have something special planned to make it less painful, and that looks like it’s going to come in a cherished box Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and the others will find in the charred remains.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Lessen the blow
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are expecting the box they find will have some treasured family heirloom we haven’t seen in years or something the writers created to take us back to memories of a young Horton family that’s been teased.
We think it’s going to be Alice’s diary and/or some pictures of their early days together.
This is going to be an interesting moment as the show will try to make it up to fans, and while it’ll be cool seeing what they have planned, we’re not sure what to expect and we’re not sure it’ll work.
Especially for long term fans.
There’s tons of nostalgia for the Hortons as they’re an institution in Salem and anything that harms that memory earns and gets a strong response.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Bringing back Tom and Alice
Seeing Tom Horton (Zach Chyz) and Alice Horton (Sydney K. Smith) are always great, but this time it’s going to be interesting as the it’s going to be new footage and Tom and Alice are recast.
While it won’t be the same and it could be a fun scene as it’ll show a young Tom and Alice and it looks like they’ll be on a picnic.
There’s also a great chance we’ll see clips with Macdonald Carey and Frances Reid in their iconic roles as Tom and Alice in actual flashbacks.
It’d be a nice way for the show to marry the different scenes with the history of Salem’s first family.
