Given his previous comments, it doesn’t surprise ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers that Peter Reckell would like to return to Salem as Bo Brady, and frankly, we’d love to have him back.
His last run was short but effective as we got to see him and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) reunite.
Of course, nothing is ever simple and Salem and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) shot him when he thought he was going to shoot Hope.
It was a clever way to write him off the show, but we want to see more of him and now we know it’s up to the show.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Wanting to come back
On January 10, 2024, a Twitter/X user called @Evangelia1111 put started a hashtag #BringBackBope campaign on Twitter with the intent of bringing Hope and Brady back to the show.
In the spirit of things, Peter decided to take part and responded to some fan question.
Of course, it was only a matter of time until someone asked about him coming back, and the user asked if him not returning was by his choice or the writers.
Peter replied with: “Writers!”
And when one asked if he’d reveal if he was shooting scenes, he replied with “The very moment!”
This makes sense given he previously voiced his desire to return, but there’s always a catch.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Returning supercouple?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers would love to see Bo and Hope return, but it may be a little more difficult than expected.
While the supercouple have been together off and on since 1983, the one thing that’s proven to work to keep them separated is the show’s writers.
Kristian Alfonso talked previously about how her biggest issue is the scripts and the continuity with previous episodes.
She’d keep old scripts, so when new writers came in and would get something wrong, she’d pull a script out and correct them on it.
It can be frustrating and she has said the scripts are the main reason she left the show, but whether continuity is the whole reason or another question.
As for Bo, it’d be great to see him come back into the inheritance mess that’ll be stirred up again when the truth comes out about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) being Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s son.
We doubt Brady would want his father’s fortune since he wanted to create his own, but it would be fun to explore that possibility.
