‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Peter Reckell Pushes For Bo Brady’s Much Anticipated Return – Should DOOL Bring Him Back?

It’s been about a year since Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) graced our screens when he returned from the dead and ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers are hoping to see him return for the 60 yeah celebration.

In the true Salem way, he first appeared as an angel where he helped Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) until his body was revived from suspended animation and he had a place for his soul to go.

Of course, he didn’t really come back as Bo but a brainwashed copy, and then he was shot by his son and put into a coma.

As badly as we wanted him to have another run, that wasn’t really what we expected with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) joining him as he was written off just as he started to remember who he really was.

But does this mean he won’t be back?

40 years distilled down to 30 minutes, amazing job, Angie!!! I have been darn lucky to play such a character. Thanks to all of you who have helped keep him alive. Hope he wakes up soon. 👍 https://t.co/Ze4iRoBGAr

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Will fans accept just Bo?

Peter has been vocal about coming back to the show for another run as he and Kristian talked about it in a recent interview. He said he’d like to come back but she’s more tentative given how she doesn’t like when the scripts ignore the show’s history.

In a recent Twitter/X post where he shared a fan’s tribute video they put together to celebrate Bo’s TV birthday, he added:

“I have been darn lucky to play such a character. Thanks to all of you who have helped keep him alive. Hope he wakes up soon.”

And this could be an interesting experiment given how there’s no way Hope would leave his side even if he does wake up, and that could pose some problems when she doesn’t return to Salem.

While the show will find a way to explain it like they did when Ciara fought for her baby, it wouldn’t fit her character, but it would be understandable.

But would it be right for the fans?

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Peter Reckell Set to Return

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Returns are always welcome

While it wouldn’t be an ideal return for him, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers think he’d still be well received since we love seeing out favorites come back in some way.

As for Bo, there’s plenty of trouble he can get into in Salem from dealing with the aftermath of his brainwashing and the Kiriakis family business being handed to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), and so on.

It wouldn’t be a stretch for him to show up and try to pick up the pieces from his years away, and it’d give the show a chance to bring in back some other Brady family members even if it’s just for an episode or two.

Will Bo wake up and return to Salem? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
