If there’s one thing ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers have grown used to is how this show rewrites past episodes to fit an ongoing storyline, and often times the actual history of the show is changed as well.
It’s something that’s expected given how long many of these shows have been around and how many writers they’ve gone through.

That’s something Kirsten Alfonso brought up in a recent interview about returning for ‘Days of Our Lives’ 60 season or a special to commemorate it.
She explained the lack of continuity was why she left the show and that she used to keep old scripts so she could show the new writers where they were wrong because she knows the fans will catch on and call the show out.
With Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos)’s backstory coming out about how his father gave Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) seed money to start his business and then being furious he’s not in Victor’s will, we have a feeling some historical tweaking is being done.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rewriting is an art form
‘Days of Our Lives’ have to admit it looks like there’s some room for the writers to work around Victor’s past as not a whole lot is really known or is public in the story.
Although our main question is since Victor allegedly (we love that word!) began his empire with illegal operations as he entered the mob world, we’re curious about the seed money he was given.
This opens up plenty of doors since we assume Victor repaid it with interest and that’s what allowed him and Konstantin to remain friends for so long.
We’re curious how much the show will dive into Victor’s past with this and will we get to see some of his early days fleshed out some? It’d be pretty cool to see some of those adventures come out, but we doubt we’ll get much.

It looks like that decades’ long friendship is over since Konstantin has shown himself to be nothing more than a greedy bad guy, and that was aided by some more rewriting ala Saturday afternoon matinees to extend the time Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) had to go through the papers.
Konstantin forged a new letter and we’re still curious how they managed to copy the signature, but that probably won’t be touched on.
Instead, we get to enjoy ever changing continuity to make a storyline work instead of just laying it out, and even some to the historical aspect that we’re sure will set some long time fans off, and we’re looking forward to seeing how that will play out.
