Salem always makes things fun, and ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers wonder if it’s something in the water or the atmosphere.
With everyone gripped by Jude’s Christening, it’s giving other storylines a chance to sit and marinate, and one of those is the one with Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) and Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapleos).
Things have taken an interesting turn and there are a few directions it could go, and all have fun possibilities.
The one that really has us wondering is if Maggie still believes Konstantin or is she wise to him?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – It’s all out there
After John Black (Drake Hogestyn) apologizing and then saying he was going to fly to Greece to turn himself in, Konstantin looked shocked.
This is where it gets interesting, because it’s hard to tell if Konstantin was legitimately moved by John or if he simply saw an opportunity.
If John did go to Greece and turn himself in, then Konstantin wouldn’t have his personal revenge, and by forgiving John it opened another door into Maggie’s heart.
He also effectively cut the legs out from under any argument John or Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) could make against him having ulterior motives.
Konstantin is one step closer to everything he wants and needs to take his half of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s fortune for himself.
But did Maggie buy into what he’s selling?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Maggie’s really shrewd
Over the last few months ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers have seen how bad a judge of character Maggie is by accusing Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) of undermining her in every way possible to fully trusting Konstantin and defending him.
It’s odd since she’s really shrew and smart, so it makes us wonder if she’s starting to pick up on different things and isn’t as trusting of him.
She did ask him about how he claimed he and Victor were such good friends despite his daughter being murdered, and Konstantin did a decent job explaining it.
But we don’t think Maggie really believed him. At least, not to the point where he’s off the hook.
It definitely feels like she senses something is off and she may approach Steve on the down low to inquire about what he knows about Konstantin.
Things are going to get interesting in the coming days and we’re excited to see which direction the writers go with it.
