‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers love exploring the different aspects of the DiMera collecting storyline.

We’ve toyed with the idea of Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) being behind it, but what if it’s someone closer to home? Someone who comes across as sweet as apple pie?

Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) is our next possible suspect and it’s sort of off the wall, but it does make sense.

Over the last couple of years, Maggie hasn’t been shy in starting feuds with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

She played the misogynist angle toward Alex to get her way. Even when she instigated it and dismissed Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein)’s assertions and fired her as PR for daring stand up to her and defend Alex.

Now with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) all over the place in finding reasons to hate Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), it gives Maggie a chance.

She doesn’t like Xander running Titan and tried to have him thrown in prison for attacking his brother. Phillip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) denying it happened didn’t work into her plan.

But could Maggie have another plan in the works?

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Using Xander’s past

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are one of the first ones to admit Xander’s past is questionable and violent. He’s come a long way since those days.

He’s no longer the man Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) pushed into the baby swap, or kidnapped Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) and Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).

But it’s the latter we think Maggie could be using against him.

Since he has a history of kidnapping, albeit against his will, Maggie could have the DiMeras being taken to frame him.

She recently told Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) she’s not ruthless enough, especially with her employees.

We doubt that extends to Xander. To oust him, we have no doubt she’ll be as bloodthirsty as Victor was.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: She has the means

The one sticking point to this idea is how can Maggie afford it? She has everything tied up in Titan, but she could’ve held some back.

She feels no one but her is capable of running the company, so this could be her way of saving the company.

So, we think Maggie paid someone to kidnap DiMera’s former CEOS and can blame it on Xander. He’ll want payback for losing DiMera to Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).

She could be looking to weaken DiMera to take it back, and Xander will be her sacrificial offering.

It all comes together in a slick, evil sort of way that’s a call back to the old days. But would Maggie risk the truth coming out and damaging Titan even more?

Let us know if you think Maggie is involved in the DiMera kidnappings in the comments below.
