‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers confirm that Greg Vaughn is back filming at the studio. We can expect Eric Brady’s eventual return to Salem.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Eric And Nicole Rode Off Into The Sunset
Vaughn was seen backstage due to a recent photo leak. Robert Scott Wilson, who plays Alex Kiriakis, shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram that included Vaughn.
Currently, Eric is living happily ever after with his wife, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), and Jude Brady (Oliver McLarty) in Paris. Eric and Nicole have quite the love story.
Eric first asked Nicole to marry him in 1999, but she decided to marry Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) for five million dollars. Eric eventually left Salem but returned in 2012 as a priest.
In 2015, a near-death experience almost brought them back together. However, when they were safe, Nicole informed Eric she wanted a future with Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian).
Eric started drinking to cope with losing Nicole, and he caused a drunk driving accident that killed Daniel. Nicole and Eric later got back together and were happy until she was presumed dead.
In true soapy fashion, Nicole wasn’t really dead. In 2023, Nicole became pregnant but didn’t know whether Eric or EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was the father.
Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) tampered with the test to make it look like EJ was the father. EJ eventually discovered Eric was really the father and kept quiet to protect his marriage to Nicole.
Leave it to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) to reveal the truth about the baby scam. Once Nicole found out EJ knew Eric was the father, Nicole quickly dumped him and reunited with Eric.
Fans were thrilled when they finally got together after what seemed like an eternity of being kept apart.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Vaughn Will Surely Be Back For Days 60th Anniversary
While it’s unclear what brings Eric back to Salem this time, viewers know that when someone in Eric’s family needs him, he’s willing to come home and lend a hand.
Since Days films several months in advance, Vaughn may return for multiple stints. He’ll surely be back for Days 60th Anniversary, and he’ll likely make an appearance at John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) memorial service.
It’s possible that Nicole and Eric are experiencing marital trouble, and that may be part of the reason for Eric’s return. However, Nicole and Jude may come with him as there are rumors Nicole could be recast.
Eric could also have a long-distance relationship with Nicole, which is the ideal scenario. We doubt Eric will be here to stay, but he’ll undoubtedly be a part of the 60th anniversary celebration.
On a separate note, Vaughn’s real life is going well as he’s now dating Shanna Moakler, who happens to be besties with Kelly Monaco, who played Sam McCall on General Hospital.
Interestingly, when Vaughn played Lucky Spencer on General Hospital, he was paired with Monaco’s Sam.
Moakler won the Miss New York USA pageant in 1995 and was also crowned Miss USA. Moakler was also a playboy playmate and appeared as Miss December in 2001.
It will be fun to see Eric back in Salem and see fan-favorite Vaughn on our screens again. Hopefully, Eric and Nicole’s marriage will continue to thrive.
