‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers finds that even though he is a mega successful daytime television star right now, actor Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis) says that if he could turn back time, there are certain things that he would have done differently. Here’s what he has to say.
Freddie Smith has been enjoying a successful run as Sonny Kiriakis on the hit NBC soap, but the actor says that he wishes that he would have taken things a little more serious during his youthful years. In fact, the actor admits that he might have had much more fun living his best life during his high school years and that he didn’t really take his studies as seriously as he was supposed to.

When asked what period of his life he wouldn’t mind reliving again, the handsome actor told Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “I guess high school because I would do things different. I would focus on learning more. I was just kind of having a good time. There’s a lot I could have been learning during the prime of those years that I could have implanted sooner in my life.”

Thankfully for the daytime television star, he did manage to pick up the pieces and realize just how important educating yourself is. And as they say, learning is truly a lifelong process and this is one actor who never wants to stop. Freddie further explained, “But that’s my journey and I have definitely caught up and I feel like I got on to the learning train in my mid-20’s through my early-30s. I caught up, but it would’ve been nice to learn a lot more when I was younger.”
