    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 16 reveal Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has a problem on his hands. Plus, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was not expecting this. We’ll also see Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) learn more about EJ. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 16: Daddy issues

    First, Xander has bigger worries than Titan. Or Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), for that matter. Days of Our Lives spoilers say he struggles to soothe a fussy Victoria. We are actually looking forward to this one. It just screams light-hearted tension break to us. We’re already picturing poor Xander practically losing it as he has exhausted almost everything he can think of.

    While it’s possible the baby’s just reacting to a new environment, we have a feeling this is another situation where Xander’s out of the loop. We’re guessing there is some special toy or other thing Victoria has recently attached to that he has not been informed of.

    Elsewhere, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) tells EJ she wants to move in. Based on what we saw last time, EJ is going to seriously object to this plan. But with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Gwen being so friendly, we assume he’s already lost the battle. They definitely looked ready to gang up on him. And with Kristen having her issues with EJ here and there, we bet she’s looking forward to watching Gwen drive him mad. Actually, we can see the pair teaming up just to bug him.

    Of course, EJ’s willingness to fight this will depend on his state of mind. Either EJ will be more worried about helping Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and getting back in Belle Black’s (Martha Madison) good graces to fight it, or his frustration with that argument will make him dig his heels in more to try and earn a victory.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, July 16: Catch up

    Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal another problem heading EJ’s way. We all know there is an investigation and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has been teamed with Cat. Well, the pair will officially begin their mission when Rafe fills Cat in on EJ’s sordid past. We can just imagine what she’s going to think when she hears some of it. She might be even more grateful that EJ gave Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) his auction date than before.
