    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, December 26 reveal Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) gets a Christmas surprise. Meanwhile, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has a gift for Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). Plus, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) continues to make a huge mistake. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, December 26: Christmas surprise

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Chad wasn’t expecting much this holiday. He mentioned how the weather kept him from going to see his kids following the DiMeras escape from the crypt. However, it looks like Chad will still be able to get festive with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron). Teasers say he’s reunited with them at the Horton celebration. The weekly preview showed him hanging ornaments with the kids. We’re looking forward to this and hope this leads to a change of attitude, and we’re not just talking Thomas. We hope Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) is re-thinking the custody situation.

    As for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), she’ll get some help to prepare for the occasion. Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) will be there to help carry on the tradition. Let’s just hope he doesn’t turn out to be as dangerous as he seems.

    Elsewhere, Maggie gets an apology from Xander. We want to say he doesn’t really owe on. Not as far as the Titan stuff goes. He has been working hard on his issues and no one really seems to be giving him credit for it. But we do see one area where he needs to atone, and that is connected to the gift he gives her. We’ve been saying we think the gift is a new portrait of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) to hand in the living room. He did, after all, destroy the last one. So, we see this as being his way of making up for that and trying to broker some good will and peace between them.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, December 26: Seriously. No.

    Finally, Brady and Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) bond gets stronger. We’ll say! That clip in the preview looked like they actually succeed in a kiss this time. And we still think that’s a terrible idea. Again, we understand Brady is an individual and has a right to a relationship. However, putting Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) together with her current situation says this is a can of worms best left unopened. If Rachel finds out, we can see this putting her recovery at risk. Especially since we’re not sure exactly how much progress has been made. Her doctors seem happy, but let’s not forget Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) coaching. So, Rachel might not be as far along in this as everyone thinks. Whether it’s for real or not, Brady should be cautious about doing something potentially triggering this soon.
