In the past, Everett had wanted to have a future with Stephanie. Everett had intended on asking Stephanie to marry him.
However, Everett had an accident before he got to propose to Stephanie. Everett need time to recover after he had been in a coma.
Fortunately, Everett made a full recovery. Everett decided that he would come to Salem to try to get Stephanie back.
However, Everett found out that Stephanie was in a committed relationship with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Everett decided to get a job at the local newspaper The Spectator because he wanted to stay close to Stephanie.
Unfortunately, Everett did not anticipate that Chad would buy part of The Spectator in order to fire him. Everett was surprised that Stephanie decided to break up with Chad over his decision.

Currently, Everett has been getting closer to Stephanie. Everett was able to spend New Year’s Eve with Stephanie.
Understandably, Everett was happy that he shared a kiss with Stephanie at midnight. Everett hopes that he will be able to get Stephanie back.
However, Everett does not know that his ex-wife Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is in Salem. Everett may find out that Stephanie has been spending time with Jada.
Unfortunately, Stephanie may find out that Jada had been married to Everett. Stephanie may be concerned that Everett would want to go back to Jada.
However, Stephanie knows that Jada is in a serious relationship with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Stephanie may need to get Jada to tell her about her feelings for Everett.
Fortunately, Stephanie may find out that Jada has moved on from her relationship with Everett. Stephanie may believe that she will want to make her relationship with Everett work.
Finally, Everett may find out that Stephanie is ready to let him back into her heart. Everett will be delighted to get to be with Stephanie again. Will Everett be able to make a long term commitment to Stephanie? Stay tuned to Days of our Lives to find out.
