‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers expect things are going to get really interesting for the show runners if they follow through on a spoiler for the fall season, and it’s not going to get pretty.
There are certain things in the show are sacred, like the Horton Town Square Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) nearly bulldozed, the Horton Christmas ornaments that almost burned up thanks to the devil, and the Horton House.
Well, it looks like the Horton house is the one in danger this year as the fall spoilers show at least part of it’s burning as Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) watche on in horror.
It also looks like the fire will be on the same wall where the devil burned their Christmas tree down a couple of years ago, and that makes us wonder if it’s going to have something to do with their Christmas preparations or is it just a popular spot.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: This isn’t going to end well
Fans weren’t happy when Paulina nearly succeeded in bulldozing the square, and a producer reportedly said he knows they’ll get in real trouble with the fans if they don’t put the Christmas ornaments up every year.
So, with those two iconic scenes already having been threatened, it looks like it’s time to burn the house down.
This is going to leave a lot of fans unhappy if the fire isn’t contained, and the fact the sofa that has more history than half the town could go up in smoke as well is another sore point.
‘Days of Our Lives’ hoped it’d be a dream sequence or part of their yearly Halloween special since any damage done there isn’t permanent, but no such luck.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Pushing the envelope
It’s healthy for shows to push the envelope from time to time as a changing of a set or prop can mean a new era, like the Huxtables getting new living room furniture on “The Cosby Show”, but this isn’t just any furniture or house.
If there’s a holy grail on the show it’s the Horton house and the history it holds, and burning it down is a very risky decision for the show to make.
Of course, they probably won’t burn down the whole house, at least we hope not, but that wall will have some serious damage.
Maybe this is the show’s way of updating the set some, in which case it could prove fun to see what they have planned.
What do you think? Should they leave the Horton house alone? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
