‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that a lot of fans would admit that Days of Our Lives star Brandon Barash has definitely made some major strides ever since he took over as Stefan O. DiMera earlier this year from Tyler Christopher. As a matter of fact, Brandon has managed to make Stefan even grittier, darker, and more complicated as a character but in the good away, of course. Plus, there’s also the fact that Stefan’s relationship with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) has not only gotten hot and heavy, but incredibly exciting, too. Here’s what he has to say.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in an interview, the ‘General Hospital’ alumni says that while it did take some time in his transition from Port Charles to Salem, he’s finally found his footing with Stefan.
“To me, it’s always very important to add layers to a character,” notes Brandon in his interview. “Even if I’m playing a complete abject assh**e, which there’s an argument that Stefan is very much that, everybody has a side of humanity to them. I wanted to add a little bit of lightness to him and a little bit of humor every now and then, because then it makes the big, heated, heavier moments that much heavier.”

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Brandon Barash Opens Up About Relationship With General Hospital’s Kristen Storms (Maxie Jones)
Brandon also spoke about his relationship with his ex-wife Kirsten Storms in the same interview. Even though the couple broke up several years ago, they are committed to doing what’s best for their daughter, Harper. In fact, they’ve made co-parenting a priority in their lives. Brandon has made it no secret that his daughter is the most important person for him in this world.
“For me, it’s unspoken. That is the way things need to be for Harper to live a happy, healthy life,” he maintains. “It’s a no-brainer for me to put away any personal bulls**t in order to raise my daughter in a harmonious world.”
