‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers are giving us all the Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) vibes as they tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will resort to the same tactics as Bo, kidnapping Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) before she marries the wrong man.
Way back in the early 80’s, before the legacy couple got it right it walked down the aisle to each other, Hope was donning her veil and preparing to marry sly politician Larry Welch (Andrew Masset).
In what has become one of daytime television’s most iconic moments, Bo swept in to kidnap Hope and the supercouple rode off together on Bo’s motorcycle.

21 years later, Bo and Hope’s son, Shawn Douglas Brady (then Jason Cook) went a step further, crashing his motorcycle through the stained glass window of the church in an effort to stop Belle Black (Martha Madison) from marrying Phillip Kiriakis (then Kyle Brandt) in Shawn’s absence (he had been kidnapped by Jan Spears- Heather Lindell).
Now, 16 years on, it seems head writer Ron Carlivati is setting up the next-next generation to recreate these dramatic moments yet again.
Spoilers say Ciara will be set to marry Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) but Ben is STILL not accepting that he has lost his amnesiac wife, setting audiences up for a huge Cin cliffhanger on July 22, before DOOL takes its two week hiatus for the Olympic Games broadcast.
Though no more details have been leaked, we can almost guarantee the motorbike, which has become a romantic touchstone for Ciara and Ben and links all three Bradys together, will be involved in whichever method Ben plans to engage to get his bride back.
We just hope he knows that neither Bo or Shawn actually won their ladies after their huge, property damaging gestures with Hope blackmailed into marrying Larry anyway and Belle going back to Phillip as she was pregnant with his baby.
