‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers say that it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, but Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) simply can’t live another day without Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and that’s why he’s going to do whatever it takes to win her back.
In fact, he’s just not the man that he used to be without her side, but unfortunately, she can’t seem to remember any of that. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Ben Completely Devastated Over Ciara’s Departure
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati previews what’s next for this Romeo and Juliet couple in this fictional town of Salem.
As many fans know, Ciara made the decision to leave Salem for South Africa to be with Theo, which has left Ben wondering what the meaning of life is without her. He hinted though that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) might be the one who will give Ben the comfort that he needs during this very troubling time in his life.
Carlivati said, “Ben is completely devastated after Ciara leaves town with Theo, and he is pretty broken and alone. He and Claire have bonded and confided in each other over the past few months, and Claire is there for him when Ciara leaves. Will that comfort lead to anything romantic between these two?”
He added, “I think the audience knows the endgame is Ben and Ciara. Obviously, if Ben turns to Claire, that will be a complication and I don’t want to say too much about whether they’re going to act on this or not. You will have to wait and see and have a little faith in your favorite couple.”
Of course, Ben and Ciara are not the only couple going through trying times. Previewing what’s next for Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus), Carlivati said, “Through her deal with Vivian, Kristen has to break up Kate and Jake, so she goes to her closet of masks and pulls out the Kate mask and thinks, ‘This is going to be simple. I’ll do the exact same thing I did to Sarah and Xander.’ But it becomes more complicated and doesn’t go like clockwork. It hits a roadblock when the real Kate shows up. When Kristen as Kate dumps Jake, it may lead to him reconnecting with Gabi, something the audience is waiting for.”
