‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers love nothing better than a good redemption story, even if Salem doesn’t like to give people another chance.
Redemption is a part of life, and when it comes to soap operas there’s always a lot of characters that could use some and try but fall flat.
This doesn’t mean they give up, but their journey tugs at our hearts and we usually want to see them succeed.
One of those that’s been growing since arriving in Salem is Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) as he’s grown from a womanizer to a man of substance. Sure, he still stumbles from time to time, but that’s expected.
Now it looks like it’s Alex’s chance to try to redeem someone, and he’s got a tall task in front of him and he doesn’t even realize it yet.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – A special case
Like many, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) has a colorful past and she’s trying to move on from it. Unfortunately, there’s always some temptation around that thwarts those plans.
As if her own habit of being a gold digger isn’t hard enough to overcome, she let herself be pulled into Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos)’s scheme to steal Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s fortune from his family.
Things have been going well on her end, but there could be a snag in her plans that doesn’t include Konstantin, and it’s that she could be falling for Alex.
It’s a dangerous situation for her to be in given she changed the letter so Alex inherited half of Victor’s estate instead of Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), and ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers doubt Alex will be happy when the news comes out.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Making inroads
There’s a chance that Theresa will take steps to ensure to Alex that she doesn’t want any part of his fortune and maybe ben sign paperwork to that effect even though they’re just dating.
While that’s extreme, we could also see her care enough about him to either come clean or try to protect him if Konstantin tries to take his or Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers)’s portion.
She may even put all the blame on Konstantin and that will make it his word against hers. However it works out, it’s going to be interesting to see if she’s able to make enough inroads into Alex’s heart to survive, or will her redemption be put on hold.
