‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers love nothing more than a happily ever after love story, but those are few and far between in daytime television.
Afterall, if couples are happy and stay together there isn’t any drama, and one of the main dividers are lies coming out. Or a jealous ex that suddenly feels something they shouldn’t.
Both of those tropes have broken up some of the best soap couples in history, and there are plenty more that’ll fall victim to those tropes in the future.
One relationship we’ve grown to enjoy is Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien)’s as they’ve grown from being a con and mark to being in love with each other.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Plenty of obstacles ahead
Of course, there’s going to be a couple of big roadblocks and potholes ahead, the biggest of which is Theresa changing things to have Alex be Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s son instead of Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).
This turned his life upside down as well as his father, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth)’s, and that is something that’s not forgivable for many and ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers totally understand that.
It makes sense and Alex will have every reason to be done with her after this, but there’s also another issue and that’s Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Where Alex struggles to understand and expect what’s to come with Theresa, Brady knows the ins and outs with her and his familiarity after their kiss may have ignited a desire in him to see where their relationship could go.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Some potential
The one plus side as far as Alex is concerned is we doubt Brady would give into his desires. At least, not in the way that would betray Alex.
He may have feelings for Theresa, but he’s no where as obsessed with her and he was with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
This will give Alex and Theresa a chance to decide if they can or want to move forward together after her lies comes out. It’s not the worst thing that’s been done soap operas and was forgiven, but Alex isn’t that type of person.
While he may forgive her in time, she’s going to really hurt him this time when she breaks his heart, but it will put him back on the road to hook up with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), who was touted as his first true love initially.
