Wedding bells are ringing for Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher) deals a blow to Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) career, Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) has busted herself, and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) gives Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) a reality check.

DOOL Spoilers Drive-by wedding
Given the time crunch, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) managed to pull together a decent affair. Kate DiMera (Laura Koslow), Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves), JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) are all in attendance as the newly-reunited couple exchange their vows. Jack gives everyone a mini-heart attack by standing up at the part of the ceremony where you never wanna see someone stand up.

He assures everyone he isn’t actually objecting to the union, but instead wants to express his gratitude for Abigail and Chad allowing them to be part of their big day. He can’t remember anything about the past, but this memory is meaningful to him. After the ceremony, Jennifer takes charge of the kids while Chad and Abigail head to the DiMera estate to get some things he left behind.

While there, they come across Gabi, who is fuming after getting fired by Stefan. She pleads her case to Chad, but there’s nothing he can do. After she takes off, Abigail gets a minute alone with Stefan, who shows a lot of class by apologizing to Abigail for having taken advantage before, and he and Chad even make nice a minute before they head off to the airport. After they leave, though, he has a bit of a fit with the chess board—something Chloe walks in on.
Days Of Our Lives Reality check
Eve stops by and visits Chloe at work, happy to know that Chloe’s okay after the attempt on her life. She’s taken aback to learn that Chloe is actually staying with Stefan. She thinks it’s a huge mistake. Chloe, delivering a reality check as only a friend can, insists that Eve is the one making a mistake. She’s positive this Jack thing is going to turn out bad. One day, he could wake up and remember his feelings for Jennifer. Eve’s aware of that, but she’s willing to take her chances.

DOOL Dumbest. Candidate. Ever.
Speaking of Eve, she might have a lucky break, thanks to a very stupid Melinda. The candidate is out working the town for votes when she sees Hayley Chen (Thia Megia) chatting with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). The cook had messed up a burger order, so Tripp insisted on her taking it to avoid wasting food. Hayley’s finished her meal and waiting for Tripp to return with a slice of pie he’d talked her into when Melinda makes her move. She rushes over and grabs Hayley by the arm, pulling her away from her table.
Yeah, that’s not suspicious at all. Hayley gets snippy and asks if she’s even allowed in public anymore, but Melinda’s not amused. Hayley did spill the beans to JJ, after all. Hayley insists they’re not close at all, so there is no risk of her telling that they’re sisters. Eve, who spotted the sort-of abduction and followed, has heard all she needs to.
