Days of Our Lives for Thursday, October 9: Milestone
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers bring a milestone. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), and Jennifer reminisce about her 40 years in Salem. We’ll likely see some flashbacks of her past in Salem. Also, we’re likely to at the very least here quite a few that revolve around her daughter. Of course, this happy moment will be tainted and that will also likely be part of the conversation. More on that in a little while.
Days of Our Lives for Thursday, October 9: Doubts
Elsewhere, JJ still has doubts that talk with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) didn’t clear up. We feel for him. We still maintain he didn’t do anything wrong, and we were happy to see Jada agreed with that assessment. And Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) still clearly needs help to deal with this trauma… among other things!
But we do agree on something else. Theo isn’t the only one who needs help. If JJ is doubting himself this much, it could lead to a bad ending on the job for him or someone else. So, he also needs to work a bit more on healing his own wounds around what happened that night. Because they’re clearly still there if this has shaken him up that badly.
Days of Our Lives for Thursday, October 9: Over already?
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal drama at the Horton’s. Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) makes a surprising demand. Although, we really think that teaser is overstating things. Likely, Thomas wants Chad to drop the woman who pretended to be his mother. And is that really that surprising? He’s a kid and this is going to be far harder to understand and process than an adult. And the adults aren’t even handling this very well, so how can we expect Thomas to?
Which is likely the hard truth Cat learns from Chad. He’ll have to put his kid’s feelings first, which would be a nice change this time around. He was too impulsive and fast with the Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) romance and it led to them breaking up while the kids lost a mother figure they loved. So, it’s good if Chad, at the very least, takes a step back for Tomas’ sake.
