‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers have been wondering who could’ve set Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) up for Li Shin (Remington Hoffman)’s murder, and off the top of our head we have two very credible possibilities in EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Of course, this doesn’t mean it was them, but they are the leading candidates, and with EJ possibly becoming Salem’s new DA, it would give him some incredible power to wield and cover his six.
With plenty of motives between them, it should be fun to see how things work out, so let’s take a peek into some possibilities.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The elephant in the room
Out of the two of them, EJ has the background and intestinal fortitude to kill Li and send the text to Gabi to send her to prison for the rest of her life after her role in helping Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish) take over DiMera.
But would he do something like this and risk everything when he could just hire a hitman? Sure, especially if Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) isn’t around to talk him down.
And he’d be sure to make it look as perfect as possible, though Li surviving long enough to almost say who attacked him was a risk.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Working together
There’s a theory ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers have and it could be that Kristen and Li are working together and EJ’s simply going to be there to relish inflicting more pain.
Of course, she wouldn’t intend to kill Li or seriously injure him, but since Gabi and Stefan did threaten her with her daughter, this may unhinge Kristen enough to get her hands really dirty.
And since Li met his untimely end, which we’re not happy about, she can just call on Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) and have him work his magic.
Assuming he can.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Could it be someone else?
This show loves to tempt us with obvious possibilities, but what if there’s someone else at work here?
Li hasn’t been in the best place, and while he was working his way out of it he may have been visited by someone and got into a fight with them.
He recently talked about his father and how he forced the woman he loved to leave, so there’s a chance that’s related to this.
It’s just hard to imagine the writers bringing up his backstory like that and then just killing him off, especially in a way not related to his issues with his father.
His father could’ve visited and they got into a fight, Li might’ve called him to push to find out what happened to his old girlfriends and he sent someone to try to talk to Li and things got out of hand.
There are plenty of possibilities here and it’s going to be fun seeing everything play out.
