David Beckham and Victoria Beckham were supposed to be best celebrity friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. But their friendship died out pretty quickly. That’s because the former international soccer star did them dirty.
David Beckham Did Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Dirty By Kissing Up To King Charles
David Beckham supposedly told Victoria Beckham to turn her back on Harry and Meghan. That’s because he’s still eyeing a knighthood and the only way he’s going to get one is if he kisses up to King Charles.
David’s been in this business for many long decades. He knows that he and his wife can’t be seen with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex if he’s expecting to get something from the British Royal Family. As long as the two parties are feuding, that’s just not going to happen.
David knows that he and Victoria had to ice out Harry and Meghan fast. They are not good for their brand. And right now the Beckham brand is all about being British, aristocratic, and of course, royal. David’s going to stop at nothing before he gets that knighthood.
But then again, there were other reports that also suggested it was Meghan Markle who decided to end things with the Beckhams. Rumor had it that she was none too pleased when she found out that Victoria Beckham had leaked rumors about her to the press.
Of course, Victoria denied it all. But seeing how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are so fiercely protective of their privacy, that was enough for them to turn their backs on David and Victoria Beckham.
And while the truth is probably somewhere in the middle between David cutting things off and Meghan supposedly doing the same, one thing is for certain: their friendship is done. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t be getting any box seats at Miami FC’s soccer games to watch Lionel Messi play anytime soon.
David Beckham Is Keeping His Distance From The Sussexes
It certainly is a shame though because the Beckhams and the Sussexes would have been fun to watch, especially during their double date nights.
But David probably decided that the risk wasn’t worth it. He doesn’t want to be on the royal family’s bad side, especially since he’s so close to getting what he wants.
