‘Dancing with the Stars‘ judge Len Goodman has confirmed that he will not be returning to the show.

The star has been a judge for a mammoth 31 seasons, but this time around, it appears that the current season will be his last. The 78-year-old has been with the show since 2005, as well as having been the UK alternative ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’
As such, it was entirely understandable that Len began to become emotional and overwhelmed when he broke this news on the latest episode. In his comments, he said: “Whilst we all are getting excited and looking forward so much to the finale next week, it would also be with a touch of sadness.
“This will be my last season judging on ‘Dancing with the Stars.” This naturally begs the question: why did Len decide to make the decision now? Well, there is the fact that he is not getting any younger, which does not help since the show is very demanding.
Not only that, but he made it clear in no uncertain terms that he wanted to spend more time with his family. This is entirely understandable since Len would have to continue traveling to the US from the UK.
But for all the sadness that he was feeling, he still took some time out to thank the show for giving him so many happy memories. His following comments confirmed as much: “I cannot thank enough the family of ‘Dancing with the Stars.
“It has been such a wonderful experience for me and I’m looking forward so much to next week’s finale, I’m sure it’s going to be absolutely brilliant.” The social media response was much the same.
People came out in droves in order to express their disappointment since the show would not be the same without Len. One person wrote: “Len is always a from us – the show won’t be the same without him! The very best.”
