The latest episode of Counting On was focused on the big milestones in some of the Duggar children’s lives. One of these is losing teeth. We have seen some hilarious scenes of Josie and her loose tooth. In the show, the entire Duggar family is eating and celebrating their giant family, as they do.

At this family dinner, Jim Duggar notices that Josie is wiggling her tooth while she was eating. This turns into a huge family issue, but it ends up being really funny to those of us who were watching this TLC hit show! Jim tells Josie that he would give her a dollar if she would pull the tooth herself. They wanted to give her an incentive to pull the tooth on her own since she is now ten years old.
Jim said that they haven’t given ever child money as they lose teeth. This is what starts a hilarious stream of questions for all of the Duggar children. The question that the producers of the show asked was, “if you gave every child a dollar for every tooth they lost, how much money would that be?” The answers that the family gives are humorous and some are just silly.
Many fans of the show were a little upset that Jim Duggar would even suggest giving a child a dollar for pulling her own tooth. Many fans think that it is a cry for attention, but there are other fans that say that it is completely fair to offer a child money for pulling their own teeth. Isn’t it a bit like telling them the Tooth Fairy will come after they put the tooth under their pillow?

One of the funniest scenes during this whole episode is when Duggar child, Josiah, tells about the day he lost a tooth, but never really found it. He even says that it could be lost in a couch!
