ITV ‘Coronation Street’ spoilers finds that the abusive storyline centred around Geoff Metcalfe controlling his wife Yasmeen has stepped up a gear this week, and there will be explosive scenes to air this week, which could finally see Yasmeen pluck up the courage and finally leave her husband.
On Monday, Alya managed to trick Yasmeen into going around to her house where she was met by two police officers, who claimed that they had information regarding Geoff and a previous crime. However, Yasmeen didn’t stick around to find out the information as she was furious that Alya had lied to her.

Later on this week, it would appear that the pressure is beginning to get to Geoff, as he learns that Alya has involved the police. He will be furious that Yasmeen’s granddaughter is getting involved in his marriage, but he will be stunned when Yasmeen gets back early to see him shouting at Alya.
Geoff will be berating Alya indicating that the couple will be moving to Cyprus soon to get away from her, and that she will be powerless in stopping them from doing so. However, as he is threating Alya for getting involved Yasmeen walks through the door.

Yasmeen will be stunned with Geoff’s attitude towards her granddaughter, but has Yasmeen finally seen his true colours? Alya has been trying to prize her grandmother away from her possessive husband for the last number of months, but Geoff has always been able to persuade her that he will change.
However, he hasn’t changed, and if anything his actions towards Yasmeen are getting worse. After the argument, Yasmeen decides to look into Geoff’s past herself and she will be shocked by her findings. Will we finally see Yasmeen cut free from the shackles? Viewers will have to continue watching to see how it plays out.
