Coronation Street Spoilers viewers were shocked in the 10,000th episode when it was revealed that Ken Barlow could be leaving the iconic cobbles for good. Ken has been a vital member of the Coronation Street team and is one of the longest residents on the street. However, during that milestone episode, Ken admitted that it was time to move away from the street for good.

Viewers were immediately concerned that Ken was making a mistake, and believed that Claudia may have had an input on his decision to go into a retirement home. However, his decision to move will begin a war between Tracy and Peter as they both fight for the house.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Big Decision Next Week

The soap have now announced that the big decision will come next week, with Ken finally deciding who will get the keys to number one. The two siblings will be forced to make bids, and whoever makes the highest will be given the keys to the house. The man in the middle of it all will be Adam Barlow, as he will unveil who the new owner is.

Could there be a big shock in store for Tracy and Peter as somebody else makes a bid for the house? Either way, the saga is likely to strain the relationship between the Barlow’s as there is guaranteed to be a loser from the decision. The only Barlow that isn’t likely to be involved in this drama is Daniel, as he is wrapped up in his own love-life with Bethany Platt.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Ken Not Leaving For Good

Bosses at Corrie were quick to admit that Ken wouldn’t be leaving the street for good. He will be moving into the Still Waters retirement home for a few months, and will likely return after a break-up with Claudia, which has already been reported as happening over the summer months.

Ken has been a resident on Coronation Street since 1960, so it isn’t surprising that fans were shocked that he was leaving the soap after the episode a few weeks ago. However, their minds will be put a rest by knowing that the legend will be returning at some point in the future. For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish.
