Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Leanne Battersby will finally get the help that she desperately needs next week. Leanne is refusing to come to terms that her son may pass away after being diagnosed with mitochondrial disease. Oliver’s diagnosis was revealed last week, and Leanne has been trying to process the news.
She is still adamant that her son is going to get better, despite those closest to her warning that he may not. Last night, viewers saw a stressed Leanne race over to Steve McDonald’s house at 6 am in the morning to try and get her son back after she couldn’t rest as she was thinking about him. Nick was able to calm her down in the end and took her back home.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Nick And Toyah Try And Help
Leanne has been adamant that she wants to get through this period without anyone else. However, both Toyah and Nick have revealed that she should take them up on their offers to help her. Leanne unleashed some harsh words on Toyah last night, as she revealed that she could never understand what she is going through as she will never be a woman.
Toyah will be aware that it isn’t really her sister talking, and will admit that she should speak to somebody to help her come to terms with what she is feeling. That only irritated Leanne, as Nick previous said the exact same thing earlier in the episode. However, it would seem as though they will finally get through to Leanne next week.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Leanne Finally Gets Help
Spoilers for next week have revealed that Leanne will finally get help and talk to Toyah’s friend Josie about how she is feeling. Josie will invite Leanne to a support group which includes other parents that are going through the exact situation as Leanne.
She will take comfort from hearing their experiences, and she will be encouraged to open up with Nick and Toyah about the help that she really needs. Leanne will understand that her days with Oliver may be numbered, which means that she will need to make the most of every minute that she has left with her son.
