He has been imprisoned for a crime that he didn’t commit before he was released and married Shona. However, during the festive episode, viewers witnessed as Shona was shot, and she has subsequently lost her memory.
She now has no recollection of who David is, and that has led to her asking for a divorce. David appeared to have given up on the marriage this week when he jumped into bed with Alina Pop, but as he concedes that it could have been a mistake, could she have a stunning revelation over the next couple of weeks?

The Platt household is already getting busier than Waterloo Station, but the numbers could be increased further judging by the spoilers that have emerged. It has been reported that Alina could find herself in a precarious position over the next couple of weeks as she comes to the realisation that she could be pregnant.
David and Alina shared an afternoon together as they both pondered about their love lives. However, they were interrupted during that afternoon as Seb Franklin returned home looking for Alina. He was shocked to see her moving on, and Seb could be dealt a further blow should Alina be pregnant.

Viewers watched this week as Emma Brooker broke up with Seb after being convinced that he is still harbouring feelings for his ex. Seb reiterated that there is nothing there anymore, but his actions said differently. It is clear for all to see that he is still hung up on Alina.
Since Emma and Seb have now broken up, he might try and rekindle the relationship he had with Alina. But, could she have something different to say about that? Viewers will have to continue watching to see how it plays out.
