Coronation Street spoilers fans are set to see a massive twist over the New Year, as one of the soaps most prominent characters has an affair with an unlikely person. The scenes will air around New Year’s Day and will be sure to leave fans shocked.
The news has been confirmed by the soap’s bosses, as exclusive pictures have been revealed showing the character in somebody else’s bed. But, which character will be left feeling the guilt of their consequences when they wake up with a sore head following a drunken one nightstand?

The character that will wake up with the guilt of having cheated on her husband is none other than Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford). Tracy has long been a man-eater on the street and has already been married three times. But, it seemed that her latest marriage to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) would be the happily ever after that fans had hoped for her.
The two already had their daughter together before eventually winding up together, with Tracy even forgiving Steve for cheating on her before the wedding. It was a change that not many fans had expected from Tracy as she is no longer the conniving trouble-maker that she previously was. But, this affair is likely to send shockwaves through her family.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Who Does Tracy Cheat With?
Fans won’t have to wait long to find out who the person that Tracy cheats with is. The revelation will be made by her daughter Amy (Elle Mulvaney). Amy will find a coat that she didn’t recognise hanging on one of the chairs in the kitchen. Tracy will attempt to brush her daughter off before doing further investigating to discover that it was Paula Martins (Stirling Gallacher).
Amy is shocked and confronts her mother, where she confesses all. The daughter attempts to bribe Paula, but she refused to remain tight-lipped, and hell breaks loose when Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) discovers the news. The three women clash on the street, but will one of them tell Steve the news? Paula has been single ever since breaking off her relationship with Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent). But, when Tracy and Paula end up drinking together in the Rovers, the night takes a strange turn of events for Tracey, who had never thought about sleeping with a woman. Can she save her marriage? Or, is this the end of the road for her and Steve?
