ITV ‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers tease that Geoff Metcalfe is one of the most hated characters on Coronation Street for many years. He has continued to control Yasmeen Nazir, but the walls could be slowly closing in on him, as Alya continues to dig deeper into her past. Geoff’s antics next week could be his undoing.
Fans will remember that Alya plotted a plan this week to get Geoff away from Yasmeen by admitting to her grandmother that they had been invited to Zidan’s wedding. Geoff was bemused that he wasn’t invited, as Alya admitted that only family was to attend.

Later in the episode, however, Geoff revealed to Alya that he will be going to Spain for the wedding with them, and that he had booked a five-star hotel for them to stay in. Alya will be bemused as to why Geoff has invited himself, while Yasmeen admits to her granddaughter that she wants her husband there.
However, next week Geoff will try and wriggle his way out of going to the wedding as he pretends to have a heart attack. Yasmeen will be scared for her husband, but he admits that he doesn’t need any help and just needs to rest. Yasmeen calls the ambulance regardless, but the medical personal are surprised when there is nothing wrong with him.

Alya catches wind that the ambulance crew didn’t find anything wrong with Geoff, so she looks into whether he has actually booked a hotel for the trip. She is shocked to find out that Geoff never booked anything for the stay, which she immediately brings up to him in a heated discussion.
Alya berates Geoff for lying to her and her grandmother and demands to know why she can’t go. However, Geoff doesn’t give Alya a straight answer and continues to shout at her. He is shocked when Yasmeen arrives home to catch Geoff shouting at her granddaughter, but will this be her time to leave her abusive husband?
