Coronation Street spoilers finds tha fans were overwhelmed last night by the support that Daniel Osbourne received. Daniel has been struggling since the death of his wife, and he even tried to replace her with Bethany Platt before he was knocked back. His family noticed how much he was struggling, and last night they came up with a new plan to tackle his grief.
Things could have played out differently for Daniel, as he did initially want to leave Weatherfield and move to London with Bethany. But, she knocked him back and decided to leave alone, which meant that Daniel was forced to question whether his feelings for her were genuine.

Daniel was offered the chance to go to a castle in Scotland, which would help with his mental well-being after losing his wife. Initially, he didn’t want to go as he worried about what would happen with Bertie. He didn’t want to leave him in Weatherfield, and didn’t want to leave him with the babysitting team. However, he was eventually handed a lifeline by Beth, who revealed that she would go with him and look after Bertie. Daniel could then go and visit the two of them whenever he liked. It was certainly a big moment in their storyline as Beth and Daniel fell out following Sinead’s death.

Earlier in the episode, Daniel asked for Sinead’s belongings back, before apologising about the way that he had been acting with Bethany. She refused to accept his apology at first, but after sitting on his apology for the day, she changed her mind. She went around to Daniel’s when Tracey, Peter and Ken were trying to force Daniel to go to the retreat. Beth gave Daniel his wife’s items back, before revealing that she has forgiven him, as that’s what Sinead would have wanted. Daniel and Beth will be away from Weatherfield for the next couple of months.
