Coronation Street Spoilers finds that it hasn’t been the easiest year for Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) following the death of his wife Sinead (Katie McGlynn). But, it would seem that he is taking steps to build his way into a new relationship with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). The two shared a romantic kiss last week, but the two are set to go official with their relationship in the coming weeks.
Coronation Street made the announcement on their social media pages, despite last night’s episode starting with Daniel acting a little frosty towards Bethany. Before the end of the double-bill, they agreed that they shouldn’t get into a relationship just yet because it’s too soon.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Making Their Relationship Official
It would seem that the two will move quickly, however, to go official, as they are set to make their announcement in the coming weeks. Bethany has been a constant source of support for Daniel since losing his wife, and she has been on hand to help him with Bertie and his measles over the past number of weeks.
Their kiss in last week’s episode was also marred with Daniel’s feelings over Sinead, as he saw his wife before kissing Bethany. It isn’t known yet when they will make their relationship official, but it isn’t set to go down well on Weatherfield.
Coronation Street Spoilers: How Will Their Announcement Go Down?
The soap has revealed that the announcement will be made in the Rovers. However, many of the characters on the soap have already expressed their fears to both Bethany and Daniel. Only in last night’s episode, Bethany’s mother told her to be careful.
Beth (Lisa George) is also set to react angrily when she finds out, as she has constantly shouted at Bethany for hanging around Daniel while he is trying to grieve. Beth isn’t likely to take their announcement well, especially since it has only been months since Sinead’s death.
