Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Carla Connor is set to learn about the assault on a man and a woman in tonight’s episode. The report will come just hours after it was revealed that Carla was being blackmailed by Jordan and Chelsey. The two mysterious characters arrived in Weatherfield last week and immediately tried to swindle Carla out of £1000.
However, Carla refused to bow down to their blackmail demands and instead rang the bell in the overs to reveal that the two people at the bar were trying to blackmail here and that she was forced to sleep with Jordan so that she had a place to sleep when she was experiencing psychosis.

It was a shocking turn of events after earlier in the episode that Carla had withdrawn the money that Chelsey and Jordan were asking for. Viewers immediately presumed that Carla was going to pay the two characters the money that they were demanding so that they could pay back the drug dealer that they had annoyed for losing his drugs. Instead, Carla took a stand and admitted to the pub that she had slept with Jordan for a place to say. Punters were quick to admit her bravery for making that stand, with Roy Cropper admitting that he was very proud of her. However, later in the episode Peter Barlow arrived back at the pub in the early hours of the morning with a pizza, before a report on the radio stated that a man and a woman had been assaulted in the area.

Peter certainly looked very guilty when he arrived back at the Rovers, and the fact that he immediately turned off the radio when the report came on would indicate that he is hiding something. Carla wasn’t worried about where he had been as he came back with pizza, but she is set to learn about the assault tonight. Carla will immediately question Peter as she demands to know where he had been on that night. However, there could be more characters that could have more to answer for as Scott also went missing for much of the evening, and he suggests tonight that Abi should also be thanked. Could Abi and Scott really have been the ones responsible?
