Viewers will remember that Shona is back living in Weatherfield now after agreeing to move in with former boss Roy Cropper. David begged Roy to allow Shona to stay with him, as he believes that there is a better chance that her memory will return should she be living in the area.
Roy agreed as he thinks of Shona as one of his own, and is one of his closest friends. The two immediately hit it off a few weeks ago, and Shona has already revealed that she likes Nina Lucas, who is also living at Roy’s. However, next week could prove to be the biggest indicator that Shona’s memory is finally returning.

Next week, Shona will make a move on David, and that will give David hope that there is still hope for their relationship despite Shona demanding a divorce just under a month ago. The scenes will air next week and will see Shona ask David to come round to Roy’s flat. The spark between the pair is still clear for all to see, but could it be a turning point in Shona’s recovery?
Shona will lean in for a kiss while he is there, but how will a shocked David respond? David could feel uneasy about kissing Shona as he doesn’t know how she feels, but could him turning her down mean that there is no hope to save their relationship at all?
