Bethany was at the centre of one of the biggest storylines back in 2017 as she survived through a sexual abuse storyline after she was manipulated by Nathan Curtis. She later stood up to him in court before returning to the street. However, she has found her love in creative writing and has written about her experiences during these times, and that love for writing could lead her away from Weatherfield.

The bosses at the soap have revealed that Bethany will be offered a huge opportunity over the coming weeks, and she will be unable to turn it down. The stones will be put in place next week as Bethany will learn of an internship for a role at a magazine based in London. She will initially be put off the idea after being knocked back after being rejected for the college that she had applied for. However, the same college will call her back with the magazine offer, but is there something that is stopping Bethany?

Bethany will be made to choose between her dream job and a romance with Daniel, and she will confide in her mother that she doesn’t want to put stress on their relationship. Daniel doesn’t know about the internship at first, but when he finds out, he will make her decision a little easier to make.
Bethany and Daniel could yet decide to leave Weatherfield together. However, any chance of that happening could be scuppered next week as Beth continues to lament the fact that Daniel has moved on so quickly from Sinead. Viewers will have to continue watching over the coming weeks to see whether Daniel will be leaving Weatherfield with Bethany.
