How did Ryan Reynolds do it? Somehow, someway, the Van Wilder actor was joined by comedy legend Rick Moranis in a new commercial for Mint Mobile, which Reynold’s recently purchased. Reynolds has already done several hilarious commercials for his new company, but this one easily takes the cake! To be the one that brings Rick Moranis back on-screen after nearly two decades is no small feat!
Take a look at the commercial below, that’s shorter than a minute and rather than pitching Mint Mobile, Reynolds just fans out over Moranis and tells him he’s such a big fan. While an unlimited phone plan for only $30 is a big deal, nothing compares quite to seeing Moranis again!

Moranis was a part of all of our childhoods, from ‘Ghostbusters’, to ‘Spaceballs’, and ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids’, he was everywhere and made all of us laugh. Unfortunately, Moranis had a family tragedy after his wife past from breast cancer. The man then chose to step away from acting to be a full-time father and raise his children.
He’s the ultimate funny man and an overall great guy. At the end of the commercial, Moranis simply waves his hand and says, “See ya”. We hope you do sir! We’d be so happy to see you again! Maybe we’ll see Moranis and Reynolds in a film together in the future.
