Vilailuck Teigen, who happens to be Chrissy Teigen’s mother, has released a cookbook in honour of her late grandson, Jack.

Jack had sadly passed away, which left a considerable hole in Chrissy and her husband, John Legend’s life. While some time has passed since then, the pain of it all still continues to play on Chrissy’s mind. That has not stopped the family from remembering Jack, though. In an interview with WSJ Magazine, Vilailuck said: “We talk about him every day.
“And that’s how we grieve. We’re getting better each day. … We’re getting so much better, and Chrissy too.” The passing was a huge shock, given that it came out of the blue. Chrissy had suddenly experienced complications with the pregnancy, which involved her placenta erupting. As such, their impending child suffered.
At the time of the incident, she told her fans on Instagram the following: “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.” Despite the evident sadness that the family feels, there are still plenty of other things to keep them occupied. Chrissy has two children, Luna, 4, and Miles, 2.
This has allowed Vilailuck to focus her efforts on giving them more attention, and by the looks of it, she is imparting them with some of her cooking knowledge. She added: “They love to help, like, crack eggs or something.” And speaking of pasta, this also explains why John had decided to cook pasta in celebration of his R&B Album of the Year award at the Grammys. His efforts were praised, and it was all under the supervision of his wife, Chrissy.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, we could see the video of John stirring the sauce for the pasta. He was wearing a Versace dressing gown, and he said: “How we’re celebrating our Grammy over here! I love you, @chrissyteigen! Thank you for inspiring me every single day. And thanks for the outstanding cacio e Pepe I was mincing garlic for!”
It is nice to see Chrissy have the wider support of her family, and this will serve as a great source of comfort.
