In a recent video, JoJo Siwa shared with her fans that she thought that Candace Cameron Bure is the rudest celebrity that she has ever met. She didn’t give any other information to her fans, but as soon as Bure saw the video, she knew that she had to address what was said.

The TikTok video has now been seen by millions of fans and of course, Bure’s fans had a lot of questions for her. Bure was pretty shocked that Siwa would have posted something like this and she was pretty quick to post a response.

She told her fans, “I immediately tried to reach out to her through mutual friends, and my publicist contacted her manager, and I DM’ed her because I didn’t know what happened- I didn’t know! So I was finally able to talk to JoJo this morning. I called her. And we had a great conversation. She was like, ‘Hey, how you doing?’ I said, ‘Well, I’ve been better, what happened?'”
Apparently, JoJo told Bure that what she had posted was a new TikTok trend. Siwa called it very silly and she didn’t mean anything by it. She wasn’t sure why Bure was making it into such a big deal. Bure let Siwa know that it “was a big deal” to her and that was why she felt like she needed to call her and talk to her about this. She told her that her reputation is on the line and when others make these videos, it is a pretty big deal to her.
Bure then told Siwa, “Because I only remember that we met at the Kelly Clarkson Show, and that went really great. And JoJo says, ‘Yeah! It was really great! You were super nice and all that.’ She actually didn’t want to tell me because she said it’s so silly, she felt bad and that’s why it just wasn’t a big deal to her. But then she said, ‘I met you at the Fuller House premiere when I was 11 years old, and we were all on the red carpet. I had come up to you and said, ‘Can I have a picture with you?’ and you said to me, “Not right now.” And then proceeded to do what you were doing and take pictures with other people on the red carpet.'”
Bure said that she apologized to Siwa and she told her that she understood that she was busy, but at the time she was just a kid who wanted to meet her favorite celebrity. Bure told her fans that everything is all good between them now.
