CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers reveals that one can never be too sure of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). The one who should know that the most is Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). She bought up his debt and is giving him opportunities to prove himself to her. Is he really on the path to becoming the changed man he says he wants to be?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: McCall’s Task
Ashley told McCall that what he needs to do is to offer the company at a great price to his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). She tells him that he has to succeed at getting Devon to buy his company. He doesn’t have a good relationship with Devon, so getting his son’s consideration has been tough. Ashley also talks with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) who suspect that Ashley is the one who purchased the debt.
They tell her that they would compensate the debt owner and McCall handsomely for his company. Ashley goes ahead and tells Tucker about this, wondering if he will choose a ton of money over her. He says that if he has all of the money in the world but doesn’t have her, then it is worth nothing. He won’t sell to Newman.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Still Sneakin’
What is interesting though is that Tucker can’t seem to get rid of his scheming and sneaking ways. While at Crimson Lights, he runs into Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). He asks her what is going on with Devon and his sister Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). He wants to know about the situation and if Devon really is going to sue Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to try to get his company back.
When Ashley asks what he is up to, he says that he is just gathering some intel. Is this just because he wants to know how to reach Devon? This is exactly the kind of behind-your-back move that Devon wouldn’t appreciate. It also shows that McCall is still struggling with the same habits.
He can’t avoid the temptation to gather some gossip and look for a way to influence the situation. He really wants to win with Ashley, so somehow he has to make Devon acquire his company. Will he do that in an underhanded way?
What are your thoughts? Does McCall seem to be trying to do what is right? Or is he just sinking into his old patterns? Will he win in this situation, when other parties are trying to acquire his company? Share your thoughts below!
