CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that as the founder of Newman Industries, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has always been a ruthless businessman. He has brokered deals which paved the way for success in his business. While he is loyal to his family, he believes that he knows what is best for them and works behind the scenes to influence their situations. While he may think what he is doing is right, the children have other ideas.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Rumbling with AdamÂ
Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) relationship with his father Victor has been anything but peaceful. They have been at odds continually and Adam is tired of his father trying to influence his life. He wants his father to leave him alone. It looks like Victor has no intention of doing that. He wants Adam back at Newman Enterprises and be under his watchful eye.
He enlists Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to dig up some information on Adam from Jabot Cosmetics. He also sees that if Newman Media wins control of Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) gaming platform, it would provide the perfect business for Adam to run. Adam does not know all that his father is doing and will certainly be angrier when he finds out what his father has done to try to control his destiny.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Interfering with Nicolas
Victor does not approve of his son Nick Newman’ (Joshua Morrow) relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Victor expressed this to Nicholas and was bluntly told to stay out of his relationship. Nicholas has not let anyone know that Sally is pregnant with their child. While working with his father and sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has recently gone well, they both dislike Sally.
They do not think that Sally is good enough for Nicholas. Sally had a pitch meeting with Jill Abbott (Brenda Dickson) which is surprisingly and suddenly cancelled, although Jill was enthusiastic about the opportunity. Nick smells a rat and believes that his father is behind the cancelled meeting. Victor does want to get Sally out of his son’s lives and will pull whatever he strings he can to make that happen.
How will Adam and Nicholas take the news when they find out all their father has been doing to control the lives? Will they decide they are not able to associate with him anymore?
