CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that after being viciously attacked by Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was hung up in a hospital room for ages. She was put into a medically-induced coma and had several doctors doting on her. Once she woke up, she was finally released home under the watchful eye of her loving family. However, doctors warned the Newman clan that her road to healing would be a long one. Over the past few weeks, Y&R fans have seen very little of Victoria. She has been unable to work or socialize. After such deep trauma, we are seeing Victoria shift slightly. We can’t help but wonder: Will her road to healing be as seamless as it seems?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria Not Healing Well
With Victoria temporarily out of her CEO position at Newman Enterprises, her big brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) stepped in after deep consideration. The family plan was for Victoria to step back in once she is back at full capacity. However, it looks like there might be a change of events. Y&R producers tease that Victoria may not WANT to step back into the big desk at Newman. Or, if she does, she might not heal well enough to handle the position.
On Thursday, Nick visited Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at the ranch. He went to get her professional advice and help her big brother with a business deal. Victoria has absolutely no interest in helping him out. After her attack, she stopped caring whether or not the company fails or not. She expresses that she thinks she may never care again.
After all, she was through a traumatic event, and they tend to change the way people see the world. Despite this, Nick is stunned. Victoria feels lost and confused. She feels constant dread and she is no longer interested in fighting. Presumably, for Newman Enterprises. However, we can’t help but wonder if there’s other things she’s given up on. After explaining her emotional struggles to her brother, Victoria grasps her chest and collapses. Do you think Victoria’s health is deteriorating?
