CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and do we have a doozy of an observation that’d drive Victoria Newman (Amelie Heinle) crazier than being told she’s not Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s true air by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and that’s how no matter what, she runs to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to vent and blame him.

It’s amazing how easy, or hard depending on one’s point of view, it is to fall into a habit. It doesn’t matter if it’s something benign like eating ice cream or serious like diving into a bottle of alcohol, we all fall into our comfortable norms when we’re stressed.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria Finds Her Footing
Kinda makes us wonder what was going through Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s mind when Victoria showed up after demanding they stay apart. Of course, he probably sensed a trap of some sort as he quickly brushed aside her accusations. But when he saw she was distraught, he fell into his old habits of wanting to fight for her.
It was a cool moment and Victoria probably thought about it as coming back together would’ve been so easy, but she relented. If anything, the brief confrontation with Billy helped her to break free of relying on others. Her maturation has been fast despite her family’s attempts to protect her, and it caused her to develop a plan to head Adam off by turning his old friend, Alyssa Montalvo (María DiDomenico), against him.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Wild card
Like Victor and Adam, Victoria is slowly starting to come into her own now that she feels abandoned. ‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers aren’t going to mention that the only one that offered to defend her was Billy, the same one her family has loved to crucify as not being reliable. Nice coincidence, isn’t it? Now we’ll get to see how like Victor Victoria really is, or is she just grasping at the most obvious straw in the hope she’ll pull something loose?
‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers think it’ll be a little of both, hence why she singled out Alyssa. Of course, it’ll help that Adam already planted seeds of doubt, but Alyssa will probably give him the benefit of the doubt until she checks everything out herself. Still, this opens up a new chapter for Victoria and it’ll be fun to see where this will take her. Maybe she won’t return to Newman Enterprises, choosing instead to go her own way like her brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) did. The sky’s the limit for her if she finishes shaking off the Newman shackles.
