CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers update for March 16th, 2020 indicate that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are in for a surprise, on their trip to Kansas, one that may just involve Adam’s past. A childhood friend of Adam’s, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) will still be around. Apparently she never left her Kansas hometown, awww! They’ll do some much needed catching up and she’ll even get to meet little Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and hear all about what’s been going on in Adam’s life.Of course looks like this little reunion will serve an ultimate purpose in the end, we’re just not sure what yet but Alyssa may drop some clues that will jog Adam’s memory about something. It may have to do with the secret that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is keeping, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will do Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) a solid and step in and help with little Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) now that Nick is away on business. Nick’s been really good about being a good Dad and being there for Faith while Mom Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has been sick, but it looks like Rey will have to take over that role for a little bit. Good thing Sharon has such a good support system, eh?

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for March 16: Mariah finally fights for her girl
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) won’t like it one bit when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) gets wind of her next tour stop and shows outside of Tanner Watts’ (Chase Coleman) plane to come fight for her girl. Really? It took her that long? Okay then. Tanner’s not loving this but he’ll at least let Mariah in to speak to her girlfriend . Mariah will lament what her life has become, with Mom Sharon having cancer and Power Communications taking a nosedive and finally what ultimately led to Mariah cheating and accusing Tessa of cheating. (Finally we get an explanation.)
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for March 16: Will Tessa forgive?
Mariah wants nothing more than forgiveness for her actions, but can Tessa really forgive all that? Even under the best of circumstances, that’s a whole lot to process in one day. It may take Tessa awhile to come to terms with all of that plus Mariah’s betrayal by cheating on her with Lindsay (Kirby Bliss Blanton), maybe eventually she’ll get over things but let’s face it… time heals all wounds.
