CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that this past week, we learned that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) planned to chew Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) up and spit her out – now that they didn’t need her services, after all. Once the couple got what they wanted, and effectively took down Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) with their blackmail, they planned to go back on their word (despite all of Alyssa’s help in their evil plan). After all, it never really pays to join forces with rude people. However, Alyssa finally learned the hard way when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) broke the bad news to her.
Victoria ran into Alyssa at Grand Phoenix and quickly dropped a bomb on her. Only a day earlier, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) was complaining to Chelsea about how Adam hadn’t published her expose. At that point, Alyssa thought that Chelsea was on her side. However, Victoria quickly had the terrible news for her. Victoria introduced herself to Alyssa and informed her about Adam’s bad intentions. Whatever promises Adam made for Alyssa’s help in his scheme was a lie. Adam never actually planned to print her story – he was just using her the entire time.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria Drops a Bomb
Now that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was the CEO of Newman Enterprises, he no longer needed her assistance. Victoria informs Alyssa that she has a plan and asks Alyssa to not confront Adam on this matter just yet. She asks Alyssa to trust her and tells Alyssa that she will be in touch about what’s to come. On the other side of Genoa City, Adam and Victor are subtly squabbling about the overtake of Newman Enterprises. Victor warns Adam that he doesn’t know his at all. Which, OBVIOUSLY he doesn’t – come on!
We are all just waiting for Victor to come out on top. Despite Victor’s many days as a villain, we can’t help but hope he reigns king at a time like this. After all, he is Genoa City’s veteran. Later on, Adam and Chelsea plan their next move. What do you think will come? Who will come out on top – Adam, Alyssa or Victor?
