CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) finally got to see his children today. He and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) spoke to their children about their separation and it was a heartbreaking scene to hear from the kids. Victoria invited Billy to the Newman ranch and tells her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) before he’s about to leave. She planned it so he wouldn’t have to be here.
Billy is skeptical at first about why they have to do it at the ranch, why can’t they do it at home. Victoria informs him the children are comfortable here, and it’ll be easier than doing it at home where the kids expect to see Billy every day.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria & Billy Talk To Their Children – Heartbreaking Scene
Billy and Victoria get the kids in the living room and Billy gives them a big hug. He tells them they have to talk and they all sit together on the sofa. They explain it to the kids that they’ll be living separately, but they still love them no matter what. They don’t agree on much, but what they do agree on is raising them as best they can. Billy assures them that they’ll still see them, too much in fact. They’re probably getting sick of them. Their children ask, “don’t you love each other anymore?” Billy responds, “it’s a different kind of love.” This line stuck with me in particular as it’s not only a good way to explain it to children but is actually true.
There are several moments today that we see Victoria look at Billy, specifically when he’s talking to children, and you know she still cares about him immensely. Although, it can’t all be butterflies and rainbows. After they speak with the kids, Victoria brings up Billy’s alleged affair. He asks where she heard about this and deduces it was her father. He tells her he’s always been in their relationship, and as usual, she chooses her father over him every time. This is also tough because of course, you want Victoria to trust and believe in her father, but he is feeding her lies about Billy. What do you think? Will Victoria find out the truth?
