CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers say that if there’s anything we’ve learned about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over the years, it’s that if you even try to threaten his family, his business, or his livelihood, he is going to come after you with a vengeance.

That’s why it shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise that Victor is going to pull out all the stops when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tries to ignite a smear campaign against the Newmans. Here’s what you need to know.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Puts Bill In His Place

It all begins when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) – who really is another person that no one can really trust in this fictional town of Genoa City – tells Victor that Billy has something up his sleeve. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Adam is going to inform Victor about the bombshell story that Billy has on the Adams.

Needless to say, it doesn’t take very long for Victor to take matters into his own hands and charge into Billy’s office and threaten to destroy everything about Abbott if he even dares to smear the Newmans. However, Billy doesn’t even flinch over Victor’s threats.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Jason Thompson, who plays Billy Abbott on the hit CBS soap, says, “For the first time in a long time, Billy is confident. He wants to get the truth about Adam out there because Billy believes it’s the right thing to do and that he’s protecting future lives from the pain Adam can inflect. And yes, there’s revenge there as well, but the Newmans are the ones whose lies and actions need to be called out.”

It’s a sure thing that Victor won’t bow down to someone like Billy. It will be interesting to see what he actually does to put Billy in his place!
